Monster Island is the official name of The Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster. This was released just in time for Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Monster Island is about an Island also known as Monster Island. Here a monster can also be found.


Due to the fact that this is a film about an asylum, it has a budget that is roughly equivalent to that of a large kid's meal and makes economical (page) use of its resources by concentrating on a small number of human characters and keeping the film's A-list actors in a single location so that they can shoot all of their scenes during a single lunch break. However, lest we forget that this is a kaiju film, and well... that is sort of how they go, so maybe The Asylum won't do such an awful job with it?
